Rain Dream narrates the story of a child who lives in the Australian outback and has never seen rain. The child dreams of what it would be like to see a thunderstorm. The work eventually becomes a sort of rain dance with chanting of ‘Wandjina,’ an Australian Aboriginal rain spirit.
