Hi all 🙂 I’ve got a big article in @limelightartsau which is not only about the upcoming #worldpremiere of my new Australian Song Cycle for @sydneychamberchoir, it’s a recount of all that’s happened for me in the last year or so and all the wonderful things I’m so honoured and blessed to be doing right now, from writing music for kids animated shows to lots of new commissions and arrangements for major orchestras and choirs.

It’s also about moving back to Australia and working with Dad on finding and writing poetry for the new Aussie Song Cycle. And I have a little pontification on music and stuff haha.

Still on a high from this. I hope I didn’t scare too many people with my crazy piece in the middle of the Bach St John Passion… or maybe I did.

Honoured to have this performed along with Brooke Shelley’s stunning Bach-reflection, performed so perfectly and sensitively by this amazing choir, orchestra and soloists, directed effortlessly by Liz Scott. Thank you thank you thank you @sydney.philharmonia and congratulations. Also delightful to catch up with so many lovely friends yesterday. Miss you Sydney! 💕🙏🎶

Thrilled to announce that two of my vocal works will be released by a publisher in the USA this week, including my “Hymn of Ancient Lands” written for the incredible Choir of Trinity College Cambridge and “Weep O Mine Eyes” which has received amazing performances by The Golden Bridge and @voces8 .

Recording sessions for a new album including gorgeous songs by @naomicrellin that I arranged for @tasmaniansymphonyorchestra, produced by @hushfoundation for @abcclassic.
